The service was outstanding. I got ramen and gyoza and the server brought me water in a plastic cup. I would call that great attention to detail. I'm surprised it is not more busy. It is decorated very cute.

The portion sizes were big enough and the food was not bad! The tonkotsu ramen wasn't anything special, but it did the job. The chashu rice bowl though....I'd get that again. The chashu was tender and fatty, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Everything included in the rice bowl just made up the perfect meal. We had to wait a while for our food (seemed like only 1 or 2 people were working). And the inside has cute decor, but it looks a little empty and cold because of how big the space is. Overall, the food here is pretty solid if you're looking for a chill Japanese spot.

Greeted in the parking lot with a "Recently Opened" banner on their windows, I was immediately feeling optimistic! With reviews poking above 4.0/5.0, the expectations were feeling high. Walking in, it's a pretty open space, it looks like they have not decided the exact layout they want. Booths line the walls with one longer table (seating 8) smack in the middle. I can't imagine anyone would sit there on purpose since you're right in the middle of the restaurant. Service options are self-serving Kiosk and ordering at a counter. There was one woman working the counter who greeted everyone with a smile and a ma'am/sir. For food, I ordered the ramen with a Tonkotsu base, Pork protein, and an Extra Egg. Totaling $15.95 before 10% tax (total: $17.54) Ramen Components: =============== Broth - Super creamy and rich in flavor Noodles - Thin and al dente, not a lot of room to absorb the broth but no real complaints here Pork - (3 round cuts) pretty chewy and taste like they have been grilled rather than slow-cooked, no real soy flavor but more of just your standard meaty flavor Egg - (3 halves) Very soft, nice creamy yolk with a sweet soy flavor. Would LOVE if the pork had a similar texture and flavor Overall, a great experience with very friendly staff and a nice homemade-tasting bowl of ramen. Perfect for a cold December day. I would love to see them invest in some actual bowls and chopsticks/soup spoons instead of going with fully-plastic options as well as do something with the middle of their restaurant outside of just the 1 long table.

Simple delicious Japanese cuisine. Plenty of tables for in person dining and on this occasion I took mine "To Go." If you're in Short Pump and you like freshly prepared Japanese food check them out!

Went here on a dreary Monday and ate in. It was pretty empty aside from one other person and they left right as my food arrived. They a build-your-own set up for the poke bowls, as well as the ramen and a decent list of appetizers. I got the spicy soy wings, Tonkatsu base ramen w/ pork chashu and a signature brown sugar boba with the milk cap. The wings blew me away, the absolute start of the show. So crispy and the flavor was on point. I'd get them again and again. I also loved my drink. The boba was sooo soft and bouncy. It was very very sweet though, so beware if that's not your thing. The ramen was just okay to me. The broth was thick and rich, but wasn't my favorite Tonkatsu I've tried. The pork tasted good, but was thinner than I imagined, as were the noodles. They serve you in plastic bowls with plastic utensils, which I've never encountered at a ramen spot, unless I ordered to go. The egg was AMAZING. I'd order an extra one next time. The thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that it stinks. I noticed it a little bit when I walked in and ignored it thinking it may have just been all the food smells mixing. But when I ventured further back to the restroom, I was met with even more stench. I don't know if it's coming out of the drains or the vents, but it smells like there's a serious plumbing issue! The bathroom was clean, but I quite literally was holding my breath as I washed my hands because it smelled so rank.

This is such a cute spot tucked away in Short Pump! The team is friendly and informative and the food is solid. I wasn't sure what to get, but I knew I wanted ramen so I asked the person behind the desk what her favorite was. I got the tonkotsu (pork broth) based on her recommendation with tofu as the protein. Their to go container is amazing and it prevents all the ingredients from getting mushy during the ride home. There were also detailed reheating instructions. Will definitely be back!

I got a Ramen with a tonkatsu base and pork. It's was very savoriness. The pork was good. Egg was great. It was made to order and was done quite quickly. The atmosphere was very nice, there were some cool wall art and decoration. This costed ~$14 which seems on par to other places. Overall an easy place to get quick takeout ramen, poke, or boba. I would come back again! 7.4/10

Cute restaurant for ramen, poke and boba teas. I was craving for ramen while I shopped at Short Pump Center. Pulled out Yelp app and saw Ginza Spot. Looks like a new place and pretty good reviews. My friend and I ordered ramen. He had tonkatsu base with beef and onion. I had a miso base with chicken. They both tasted good. The soft-boiled egg was yummy. Vegetables are fresh. Soup was hearty. No wonder everyone praised about it. We also ordered a 2-item poké bowl with everything on it and wasabi sauce. It wasn't pungent like wasabi at sushi restaurants. It was delightful and perfect for salmon poké. Fish was fresh. Everything was nice. Then, the orange interior drew our attention. So cute. I didn't have a lot of time to make social media posts because I have a flight to catch. If I'm in the area, I certainly will stop by again.
